GTDS is the “Gießener Tumor DokumentationsSystem”. It is widely used in Germany by cancer registries and cancer centers. Although there are several other cancer documentation database systems, GTDS has become a standard of care and therefore it will be considered in this blog as -the- tumor documentation data base system and used throughout in here.
